I love flowers!
And that's probably all I should have to say.
But because it's me, well, I'll say a little bit more....
I love flowers.
Flowers have defined my life in so many ways. From the moment I got my first job in a flower shop, my work and subsequent life choices have been shaped and defined by the paths I have followed because of flowers.
I am grateful everyday that I found flowers, that my mum made me get off my backside and go for that florist job rather than laying in the sun all summer long!
I am proud of my work and I am proud that my sons see me working hard and loving what I do.
I love the up's and downs of working in a creative industry. I love that what we do is fuelled by passion and the strive for the new, that the seasons bring us new joy and surprises and flowers just make people smile
I love that no two days are the same and I love that the energy I get from working with flowers never fades.
I love the people I meet along the way ,the wisdom knowledge and kindness that florists share with each other and I love love love the flowers!
See, I said more!
